Finding Information on How to Become a Submissive/Slave
This blog post is for all of the other women and men who are starting out in BDSM & trying to find information on how to become a submissive/slave. Stick with it. There is hope. The information is there and genuine people do exist!
When I found my interest into BDSM quite some years ago and the BDSM, D/s, M/s lifestyle, I did a lot of research and reading. At the time I could not find information about being submissive, or better being a slave, fast enough. There was also very little to be found for someone who was not in the fetish ‘scene’. Heck I didn’t even know there was a ‘scene’.
What I did find I devoured, and I found I wanted this BDSM lifestyle more and more. I even went to a local library, to find that there was nothing in relation to what I wanted to find out about living a submissive life, and becoming the property of someone else as their slave.
Admittedly I did not know what exactly I should search for, and this may have something to do with it. The point is, I knew what I felt and was searching for information about it; but the information was not available in a way that a person like me would logically look for it.
I was not in the ‘scene’ and (at the time) had only average Internet skills. At one point I found and joined some Internet chat groups where people discussed BDSM and fetish in general. What I found was that (especially now looking back in hindsight) many, perhaps even most, people were not genuine, and in fact had no clue or idea.
I understand that everyone has their point of view on these types of things, but it was not answering the questions and the curiosity that was consuming me at the time.
The information of the Internet I found very interesting and helpful, but also conflicting, confusing, and confronting at times. Confronting was good because this made me think about what I really wanted.
My best source of information has been sharing and listening to my Mistress (who is a Professional and a lifestyle Mistress) who has a wealth of knowledge in many areas. This has given me the chance to learn and grow and gain much needed knowledge to satisfy my greed for information.
Being able to actually meet and talk to people who have actually lived and experience the lifestyle was very helpful. I found this a good way to obtain quality information and the most satisfying for me. I still even find meeting people who have had experience, whether a little or a lot, that I can learn and share wonderful information and ideas with them.
